Burger King

I've been eating poutine here since my youth. I find it's a nice 'go-to' poutine place when your body needs a shitload of salt (more so than the average poutine). I wouldn't consider this a top-notch place, but it's cheap and Burger King has awesome music.

So enjoy this salt box whilst listening to the sounds of  'Puttin' on the Ritz.'

Shoeless Joe's

I expected a lot better from this place....I learned my lesson.
Shoeless Joes doesn't exactly scream fine dining.

Poutine with smoked bacon sounds like a good idea, especially if you love to eat anything with a face. However, I kept pushing the tasteless chunks of bacon to the side as I hesitated to eat the rest. YOU NEED good fries and gravy or the poutine is shit. I don't care how 'good' the toppings are. This is what I like to call a poutine cheat. I have not been fooled.

No Bull

R.I.P. Bon's Submarine (Queen and Spadina)
you are the reason why I love going to dives for poutine. you are missed.


What I thought was merely a lucky rebound since Bon's Submarine closed down, No Bull Burgers has filled the missing void in my heart. Tasty everything!! The cheese curds are a little rubbery (if you like that), I personally will eat any curd that's presented to me. The staff are a couple of cool cats, too!
